This camp focuses on musical theatre song interpretation and acting through song. Students will learn how to find clues provided in the music, how to interpret lyrics, and acting techniques for turning interpretation into authentic, meaningful, and believable performances. This camp will culminate in a musical-revue-style performance at the end of the week.

In this musical theatre intensive, students will explore the evolution of musical theatre by staging a musical revue that will take the audience on a journey through the jazz age to today's hip-hop musicals. Students will hone their triple threat skills while performing solos, small groups, and large show-stopping group numbers. This camp will culminate in a fully staged performance, complete with lights, sound, and spectacle.
